Sleep Dentistry
Sleep Dentistry is the use of medically administered and supervised intravenous ("IV") sedation. It is often referred to as "Twilight Sleep" or "Twilight Sedation" or "Conscious Sedation". It is the most advanced form of dental sedation available and uses a combination of sedative and pain relieving drugs to create a drowsy and dream-like state of deep, calming relaxation for the entire duration of your dental procedure.
It is a modern, safe and highly effective technique that will make your visit to the dentist a relaxing, comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Dental Implants
A dental implant is an artificial tooth root replacement and is used in prosthetic dentistry to support restorations that resemble a tooth or group of teeth. The most widely accepted and successful implant today is the osseointegrated implant, based on the discovery by Swedish Professor Per-Ingvar Brånemark more than 30 years ago that titanium can be successfully fused into bone when osteoblasts grow on and into the rough surface of the implanted titanium.
This forms a structural and functional connection between the living bone and the implant. A variation on the implant procedure is the implant-supported bridge, or implant-supported denture.

Orthodontics
Orthodontics is a specialty of dentistry that is concerned with the study and treatment of malocclusions (improper bites), which may be a result of tooth irregularity, disproportionate jaw relationships, or both. The word comes from the Greek words ortho meaning straight and odons meaning tooth.
Orthodontic treatment can focus on dental displacement only, or can deal with the control and modification of facial growth. In the latter case it is better defined as "dentofacial orthopedics".

Wisdom Teeth
The mandibular third molar (commonly known as a wisdom tooth) is the tooth located distally from both the mandibular second molars with no tooth posterior to it in permanent teeth. They usually appear between the ages of 16 and 25 and are called wisdom teeth because they come in when a person is old enough to have gained some "wisdom".
Wisdom teeth are commonly extracted when they affect other teeth — this impaction is colloquially known as "coming in sideways". Most adults have four wisdom teeth, but it is possible to have more or fewer.

Mouthguards
Mouthguards are used in sports where deliberate or accidental impacts to the face and jaw may cause harm. Such impacts may occur in many sports including boxing, martial arts, rugby, wrestling, soccer, American football, Australian football, lacrosse, basketball, figure skating and hockey.
Mouthguards may also prevent or reduce harm levels of concussion in the event of an injury to the jaw.
